Affliction

Afterwards, I sense the rawness of

Flesh scorned throughout.

Felt, falling, feverish

Like death in slow motion.

Incredulously crooked side-stepping

Casually stopping on the underside

Til breath lies extinguished.

Innate darkness seeping

Out of yesteryear springs flow.

Night perishes into morrow.
